On Monday, 11 November 2019 stargazers from around the world will get the chance to watch a rare transit of Mercury. The innermost planet will cross the Sun’s disc over a period of around 5 and a half hours. The 2019 transit of Mercury will be visible from most parts of North America including United States where the transit will already be in progress from sunrise onwards.
